Tri County landfill is a family owned and operated landfill located in East Helena, Montana. The landfill has been a safe place for solid waste disposal for over 30 years.
We primarily accept municipal solid waste (MSW), construction and demolition waste, recycling materials, and other special wastes (not including hazardous waste).
Our top priority is to provide the best private landfill experience for our community, with a focus on the reuse of materials and safe disposal practices. The landfill is MDEQ licensed and professionally engineered to ensure all safety and environmental protection measures meet government regulations and eliminate any environmental harm.
Pay-As-You-Throw
Our Pay-As-You-Throw service is the best for customers looking to self-haul waste to the landfill and only pay for the amount of material thrown away!
Even better, you don’t need to create an account beforehand to use our landfill, just show up.
For East Helena residents, the City of East Helena pays for you to dump 2,000lbs each fiscal year from July 1 to June 30 (excluding extra costs like mattresses & refrigerant removal). If you’re an East Helena resident within city limits, confirm with the map below and get started today!
