Collection Info

Garbage must be bagged and tied tightly.

No one likes stray trash blowing through the neighborhood. By bagging and tying your trash bags, you’ll prevent spills and accidental littering. Grass clippings are allowed, however, they too must be bagged to prevent getting stuck in the bin.

All boxes must be completely broken down.

For recycling, it’s important to break down your boxes. If not broken down, box items can get pinched when the truck grabs the bin which prevents it from emptying completely. No one wants a half-empty bin.

Put your can out the night before.

Driver’s start routes as early as 4:00 am and pickup times can vary. It’s important your bin is ready for collection the night before—we don’t want to miss it!

Place your can a minimum of 4 feet away from all obstacles.

Placing the bin away from obstacles allows a clean grab for the collection truck’s robotic arm, ensuring nothing else is in the way or damaged. For example— the bin must be 4 feet away from any other bin, vehicle, or mailbox. Note: this includes 95-gallon bins.

In case of spills…

If your contents are not in bags, are frozen, or if you have excess grass or cardboard in the can, it can spill out of the can. We try our best to clean up any spills.

If a can is cracked…

If it’s a minor crack, we won’t worry about it. However, if the can is completely unusable, or if you need a new lid or wheel, let us know and we’ll replace your can right away.
