Tri County is a privately owned and operated company that has served greater Helena for over 50 years. Our mission is to provide excellent disposal, composting, recycling and landfill services to our communities.

Chance Sparrow

Co-Owner
Chance serves as the President of Tri County Disposal, a role he takes on with pride as the 3rd-generation owner of the family business. He leads the company with a focus on practical solutions and sustainable practices, underpinned by his background in civil and general engineering. Chance enjoys life’s simple pleasures in Helena like hunting, archery, and camping with his family. Alongside his wife, Austen, daughter, Leighton, and their Australian Shepherd, Maybelline, Chance embodies community and family values, striving to make a positive impact both in and out of the office.

Austin Sparrow

Co-Owner
Austin is Vice-President at Tri County Disposal, a role that involves overseeing operations as well as shaping the strategic direction of the company. With a certification in landfill operations management, Austin is deeply involved in driving growth, managing finances, and nurturing talent within the organization. As a 3rd generation business owner, Austin’s dedication to Tri County Disposal stems from a desire to serve the community and contribute to environmental sustainability by expanding the company’s green services and creating more local job opportunities.

Cindy Holms

Controller
Cindy serves as the Controller at Tri County Disposal, bringing over 30 years of financial management experience from various industries to her current role. Her expertise lies in steering the company’s financial direction, ensuring stability and growth, and supporting a capable team that excels in their roles. Cindy’s familial connection with her sons, Chance and Austin, infuses her work with pride and dedication, emphasizing the company’s deep-rooted family values.

Joseph Connole

General Manager
Joseph, General Manager at Tri County Disposal, brings over 28 years of experience in the waste hauling industry, with 13 of those years in managerial roles. As head of day-to-day operations, Joseph is dedicated to ensuring customer satisfaction and effective staff management, thriving on the opportunity to inspire his team and foster a positive workplace environment.

Gary Baxter

Manager | Landfill Operations
Gary is the Landfill Manager at Valley View Landfill with Tri County Disposal. He has over 25 years of heavy equipment operation experience alongside a robust portfolio of certifications in hazmat, DEQ, and leadership. His role involves overseeing the daily operations and staff management at the landfill, where he enjoys the precision and challenge of maintaining excellence in landfill operations. He’s known for his careful approach to work and life, both summed up in his motto: “Don’t operate faster than you can think.”

Heather Brodsho

Manager | Customer Experience
Heather excels as the Office Manager at Tri County Disposal, where she leverages over a decade of customer service experience in her role overseeing day-to-day operations, with a strong emphasis on customer service excellence. Heather thrives on taking care of and serving her community and values being part of a cohesive team that prioritizes mutual support and engagement. Working at Tri County Disposal fulfills her desire to be part of a company that not only values her contribution but also her family’s well-being.
